About

I have been taking photographs for many years, and I began with specialising in landscapes and architecture.  Long exposures of city streets with the neon lines of headlights smeared across the images quickly filled up my portfolio, contrasting with the calm, wide open expanses of hills and moors of remote locations.

Later, I wanted to expand my artwork and began with monochrome art nudes; basic studio shoots with simple but effective lighting techniques created images that played in my mind when I looked at my earlier landscape work.

I began to see art nudes in the landscape.  Reflecting Nature in their shape and form, as branches or smooth rocks on the river’s edge.  Or mimicking the ruins of man made buildings, becoming part of the slate wall for example.

So I arranged my first art nude on location shoot after a few weeks researching locations and models.  Since then, I have worked upon the foundations of my images, finding more unique, beautiful and striking locations and more models who connect with that world around them with incredible poses to create a portfolio I am proud to stand by.
